Since 1992, Osteria delle Corti in Milan has been offering authentic Lombard cuisine, tied to the life of the neighborhood and the history of a family.

It all began with Stefania Marina and her mother Candida, with the simple and powerful idea of bringing the flavor of Sunday at home back to the table: sincere recipes, prepared with patience, respect, and that naturalness that once belonged to everyday cooking.

Today, Osteria delle Corti continues on this path, with a more contemporary sensibility that remains faithful to its roots.

The origins: Le Corti di Rinoma

The restaurant’s first name, Le Corti di Rinoma, was an anagram that combined her father’s name, Marino, with Stefania’s middle name. It recalled the old Milanese courtyards and the small rooms that characterized the restaurant—intimate spaces where the city once experienced its most authentic relationships.

From there, the natural transition to Osteria delle Corti: a name that preserves the sense of home and community, with home-style cooking that remains faithful to what is “well-made and homemade” with high-quality ingredients.

Osteria delle Corti: the heart of Milan, yesterday and today

After over thirty years, a name change, and a recent restyling, Osteria delle Corti maintains a warm and welcoming atmosphere, made of details that recall the homes of the past: decorative bottles, exposed brick, soft lighting, parquet floors, and a few vintage pieces.

The two rooms, the main one and the mezzanine, offer 60 seats in an intimate and convivial setting. Outside, the summer terrace allows you to enjoy a pleasant break in the lively rhythm of the Sempione district.
